Department of Mass Communication at the College of Arts and Sciences, through a MEPI (Middle East Partnership Initiative) program grant, is cooperating with University of Louisiana to enrich and modernize its teaching and training programs for the students of mass communication. Four female students from the Mass Communication Department studied at the University of Louisiana during the Spring 2009 semester.
Through the partnership of Qatar University with Al-Jazeera network, the Department of Mass Communication utilizes the expertise of Al-Jazeera professionals in enhancing its students' academic and professional competencies.
