It has been successful in gaining accreditation from leading international bodies for seven of its programs at the College of Engineering (ABET) Biomedical Sciences Program (NACCLS), Chemistry program (CSC), Pharmacy College (CCAPP), College of Business & Economics (AACSB), Foundation program Department of English (CEA), and the ISO/IEC 17025-2005 accredited status accorded the laboratories of Environmental Studies Center.
QU is an internationally recognized university with strong ties to other institutions of higher education. The University is an active member in several prestigious regional and international associations, including the Union of Arab Universities, the league of Islamic Universities, and the International Association of Universities.

QU campus sits just 26 km from the center of Doha, Qatar’s exciting capital city and scenically overlooks the coast.
