The Qatari student’s father is not working
In case, Qatari guardian is unemployed, the following documents should be uploaded within
the financial aid online application through
Banner self-service before
the deadline for the intended service:
- Bank Statement of the student’s guardian for the last six months.
- A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the guardian.
- To Whom It May Concern letter issued by the civil Service and Governmental Development Bureau that prove the guardian is not working in a government institution.
- A certificate from social security proving that the guardian is not receiving the social security pension.
- In case the mother is working, submit her total-salary certificate that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. For Qatari mother, the salary certificate should include the monthly deduction related to the retirement pension. Also, in case she is working in private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
- In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the mother salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
- In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit the following documents:
- Bank statement/s for last 6 months.
- A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.
- Copy of the notarized work contract.
- Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
- Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the family members from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of any newborn child, marriage certificates of any other guardian’s resident wives, letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to be considered a family member, and any other documentation required to establish the structure of the family).
- Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank for monthly financial aid applicants.
- A valid authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment by the student but it is not mandatory).
- Copy of appreciation certificates to prove that the student has obtained one of the co-curricular student awards, if any but it is not mandatory.
- A letter issued by the sports activities department to prove the student’s enrollment in one of the QU sports teams, in case the student is enrolled in any of them but it is not mandatory.
- A certificate of guardian or mother indebtedness from the bank, showing the monthly installment of bank loans (if any but it is not mandatory).
- In the case of a sibling with a disability, documents proving this can be provided along with a copy of any recent invoices related to treatment, education or others related costs.
- In case there are siblings enrolled in a bachelor's degree at any university in the State of Qatar at the expense of the guardian, the documents proving this can be provided along with a copy of the invoices proving payment of fees for the current semester.
- In case there are siblings enrolled in private schools in the State of Qatar at the expense of the guardian, the documents proving this can be provided along with a copy of the invoices proving payment of fees for the current semester.
- The Section may ask for any other additional documents showing the financial circumstances of the student or his/her family.
The Qatari student was working but currently unemployed
In case, Qatari student was working and resigned, the following documents should be uploaded within
the financial aid online application through
Banner self-service before
the deadline for the intended service:
- Bank Statement of the student for the last six months.
- A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the student.
- To Whom It May Concern letter issued by the civil Service and Governmental Development Bureau that prove the student is not working in a government institution.
- In case it was approved that the student has no source of fixed income according to the points from (1) to (3), we will return to request the required documents according to the father and mother working condition.
- Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
- Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the guardian and the family members from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of any newborn child, marriage certificates of any other guardian’s resident wives, letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister or a son/daughter aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to be considered a family member, and any other documentation required to establish the structure of the family).
- Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank for monthly financial aid applicants.
- A valid authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment but it is not mandatory).

- In case there is a son/daughter (if any) enrolled in a bachelor's degree at any university in the State of Qatar at the expense of the student, the documents proving this can be provided along with a copy of the invoices proving payment of fees for the current semester.
- In case there is a son/daughter (if any) enrolled in private schools in the State of Qatar at the expense of the student, the documents proving this can be provided along with a copy of the invoices proving payment of fees for the current semester.
- The Section may ask for any other additional documents showing the financial circumstances of the student or his/her family.
The Non-Qatari guardian or student is under company/ institution’s sponsorship but unemployed
In case, Non-Qatari guardian or student him/herself is under the sponsorship of an institution or company but unemployed (no salary) due to termination, medical reasons, or financial difficulties facing the employer, the following documents should be uploaded within
the financial aid online application through
Banner self-service before
the deadline for the intended service:
- In case the student is under sponsorship of an institution or company but unemployed:
- All Bank Statements of the student for the last six months.
- A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the student.
- A copy of a termination letter or a letter that explains the student non-payment of the salary from the employer due to medical reasons or financial difficulties facing the company, attaching all documents that help to prove this situation.
- Copy of the company valid establishment card.
- Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
- Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank for monthly financial aid applicants.
- A valid student authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment but it is not mandatory).
- Copy of appreciation certificates to prove that the student has obtained one of the co-curricular student awards, if any but it is not mandatory.
- A letter issued by the sports activities department to prove the student’s enrollment in one of the QU sports teams, in case the student is enrolled in any of them but it is not mandatory.

- A copy of a termination letter or a letter that explains the guardian non-payment of the salary from the employer due to medical reasons or financial difficulties facing the company, attaching all documents that help to prove this situation.
- Copy of the company valid establishment card.
