6- Training Programs in Collaboration with the Training and Development Center – Ministry of Education and Higher Education
About the Program:
The collaboration between the National Educational Development Center (NEDC) and the Training and Development Center at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education began in 2016, following the establishment of the Training and Development Center, through multiple and diverse programs targeting all educators working in public schools.
This partnership focuses on designing and implementing both general and specialized professional development programs that contribute to enhancing the competencies of educators and improving the quality of education in the State of Qatar.
Examples of these programs include:
• Action Research for School Leaders
• Design Thinking for Teachers
• Assessment of Higher-Order Thinking Skills
• Types and Tools of Formative Assessment
• Constructing Achievement Tests
Program Objectives:
• Strengthen collaboration and exchange of expertise between the National Educational Development Center and the Training and Development Center.
• Design educational training packages for both general and specialized fields.
• Implement educational training programs in general and specialized areas.
Target Group:
Educators (teachers and school leaders) in public schools.
