We accept children of Qatar University members, and a certain percentage of the community. Children are enrolled at the beginning of each academic year.
Eligibility:
Enrollment eligibility is for children from the age of three years old and as per admission conditions mentioned below:
- Age 3: Pre-K (Pre- Kindergarten – Child must have turned three years by Sept 30) and be toilet trained.
- Age 4: KG1 (Kindergarten One) must submit report of the child's enrollment in a previous kindergarten or nursery.
- Age 5: KG2 (Kindergarten Two) must submit report of the child's enrollment in a previous kindergarten or nursery.
Application submission:
Registration fee of (QR.500) (non-refundable) is to be paid upon application submitted for enrollment at ECC. The Admissions Committee uses screening tools for each age group based on the objectives of development and learning. This procedure is designed to assess the academic and social skills of the applicants.
Admission conditions:
- Priority is given to member of Qatar University. Children from outside the university are accepted if seats are available.
- Child must turn 3 years old by September 30, and must be toilet trained.
- The child must pass the admission test.
- Report of the child's enrollment in a previous kindergarten or nursery must be submitted (If available).
Admission Requirements:
- A copy of the ID card and passport of the child, father, and mother.
- A copy of the child's birth certificate.
- A copy of the child’s vaccination card.
- The Child’s Health Record obtained from the relevant health center.
- Three recent personal photo of the child.
- Report from previous nursery or kindergarten if available.
Admission Policy:
- Submission of the application along with the required documents for review and evaluation of the file.
- The child attends the admission test, as the parent will be notified through email of the test date.
- After the child passes the test and the documents are completely submitted, a seat is offered for the child via an official email to the parents.
- The parents must complete the payment for first semester fees (QR 5,500) within a week from the date of offering the seat. In case of non-compliance, the seat will be offered to another child on the waiting list.
