    Program Plan and Course Description

    The Bachelor degree in Special Education program is a 4 year degree that consists of 120 credit hours over 4 years or 8 semesters (including a significant field experience component).The language of teaching is Arabic. Students should consult their advisers.

    • (33) hours as University Core Curriculum requirements,

    • (39) hours of major requirements (core Education courses common to the B.Ed. majors in Primary and Secondary Education as well as core Special Education courses),

    • (36) hours in the concentration Requirements (including 9 hours of student teaching), and

    • (12) hours of free electives.

    Students Will choose one of the Three tracks below:

      • Early Childhood Special Education Services (PLAN

      • School-Based Special Education  (PLAN)

      • Severe and Profound Disabilities  (PLAN)
