The process of application for admission into the undergraduate programs offered by the seven colleges of the university is administered by the Admissions Department in Student Affairs.
Some programs have additional requirements administered by the program.
For both undergraduate and graduate studies, Qatar University has adopted a policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, gender or religion. Qatari and international students are admitted on a competitive basis according to individual merit, as determined by the university. Also, Qatar University ensures that all its facilities are accessible to special-needs students.
Applications for admission are normally accepted during the months of July to August for the Fall Semester, and during the month of December for the Spring Semester.
