    Qatar University Winter Research Internship Program – 2021

    At the Central Laboratories Unit (CLU), one of our key service objective is to support Qatar University (QU) students and early career researchers, by providing training and continuous development programs on the operations of advanced analytical instruments and scientific procedures relevant to academic research and the industry. This improve the students’ technical skill, enrich their learning experience and enhances QU graduates competitiveness in the labor market.

    SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2021

    The main goal of the Central Laboratories Unit is to enhance scientific research activities, by maximizing student success in becoming competent graduates by providing high-quality training, analytical services, upgrading and expanding the overall research infrastructure, including core facilities, to meet research needs. The Central Laboratories Unit provides analytical, technical, and training support and consultancy to serve efficiently the university’s research activities and testing needs. In addition, it provides hands-on experience in the use of chemical analytical equipment at Qatar University. The Central Laboratories Unit is pleased to announce its participation in the QU Online Summer Research Internship 2021 according to the following schedule:

    For registration to one of the Central Laboratories Unit (QUCLU) Summer Research Internship Programs 2021, please visit the website of the Office of VP For Research & Graduate Studies (VPRGS) at http://www.qu.edu.qa/research/research-activities/qu-summer-research-internship.  The registration will start on 1st May 2021 and the last date will be 24th May 2021.

     

     

    SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2020

    The Central Laboratories Unit provides analytical, technical and training support and consultancy to serve efficiently the university’s research activities and testing needs. In addition, it optimizes and upgrades the practical performance of technical staff and students and provides hands-on experience in the use of chemical analytical equipment at Qatar University. Due to the present situation, The Central Laboratories Unit is pleased to announce its participation in the QU Online Summer Research Internship 2020 for QU undergraduate students according to the following schedule:

    For registration to one of the Central Laboratories Unit Summer Internship Programs 2020, please send an email to clu@qu.edu.qa . After the last registration day (May 25th , 2020), we will contact the accepted candidates for confirmation and the program details. After completing the internship program, all students are required to submit a report about the skills they acquired. The internship participation certificates will be issued in Fall 2020.

    SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2019

    QUCLU summer training program aims to train students in research methods, techniques, and enhance their research skills. Moreover, this program will enhance the student theoretical background in the field of chemical analysis and instrumentation. QUCLU courses will provide exposure to the advances in the field of analytical instrumentation to both basics and practical aspects to the beginners. Wide coverage is given to fundamental concepts of Laboratory Operations in a lucid manner so that both the novice and expert will find the programs as a useful reference for the day-to-day Research Laboratory Operations.
