Dr. Noora Essa Al-Mannai is a research assistant professor in the Social Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI). She received her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in International Politics in 2013, her Master’s degree from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in Politics and International Relations in 2018. She received her PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom in 2024.
Before pursuing her PhD, she worked as a research assistant in SESRI from 2018. During her time, she has contributed to several studies including the Qatar Education Study 2019 and 2025 as well as a study on Social Capital in 2025. She is also currently participating in several research grants with colleagues from different departments in the following topics: Qatari identity and youth, as well as Qatari Resilience of climate change. Her research interests are related to political science and international relations with a special interest in Gulf States and the Middle East.
