    Shaikha Ahmed Al Thani has been the Head of the Marketing and Sales Department at Qatar University Press since October 2022.

    She holds a Master of Science in Islamic Finance from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Qatar University (2013). She is currently pursuing a Doctoral in Education at the University of Southern California.

    Previously, she held several positions in marketing and communications, including Senior Marketing and communication Specialist at Qatar University Press since 2021 and Teaching Assistant at the College of Business at Doha University of Science and Technology from 2018 to 2020. She also gained diverse professional experience through training programs at Al Rayan Bank and United Development Company (UDC).

    She has played a key role in organizing and overseeing various international book fairs, including the Doha International Book Fair, the Ramadan Book Fair, the first and second editions of the Qatar University Book Fair, the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, and the Riyadh International Book Fair.

    She was awarded the Creative Advertising Award in Social Responsibility at the Arab Media Forum in Kuwait in 2022. With extensive experience in project management and strategic marketing, she contributes to the advancement of academic publishing and cultural marketing.
