The Engagement and Communication Office provides strategic communications consultancy, events management, public and media relations planning, and manages the communications and publicity functions of the VP for Research & Graduate Studies Office and affiliated centers.
With the aim to strengthen the reputation of the Research & Graduate Studies Office through generating awareness of key initiatives, projects and achievements, the office conveys – to the residents of Qatar and audiences worldwide – the excitement of creativity, quest for new knowledge, and the value and benefits of research at Qatar University. We nurture and develop the external profile of Qatar University's key strengths in its research specializations and its engagement with business and industry partners to advance excellence in teaching, learning and research.
The office publishes updates of research projects and develops related content for the Qatar University Research Magazine, newspapers, media outlets, as well as other publications. We raise the profile of QU’s research excellence to local, regional, national and international audiences.
