The Assets Services Section is responsible for managing and tracking Qatar University's assets efficiently and in accordance with approved regulations, ensuring data accuracy and the optimal and sustainable use of assets.
Services Include:
Recording asset data and updating their locations in approved systems
Assigning a unique university identification number (barcode) to each asset
Conducting periodic inventory checks to verify assets
Tracking the movement of assets between departments and locations and updating records accordingly
Managing the decommissioning and disposal of damaged or obsolete assets in line with approved procedures
Providing office equipment relocation services (computers, printers, telephones, and others) across university locations
