December Aladaam
A community outreach program that initially launched in 2020 with the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, in order to celebrate the Qatar national day -18 December but in a broader way -by celebrating the whole month of December.
It aims to gather Qatar University students and employees from all departments and colleges to celebrate the Qatar National Day through series of short films that was posted on the social media of the center (Twitter, Instagram and YouTube). Then the audience vote and choose the best film.

The slogan was "ancestral meadows: a matter of trust" and it connected the recent researches and scientific studies to the old traditions of the ancestors and discuss ways to preserve these traditions to be practiced by new generations.
Participating students: 16 undergraduate and graduate students from 5 different colleges (dentistry, health science, pharmacy, engineering and arts and sciences).

The slogan for the first edition was to highlight, thank, and appreciate front-liners’ efforts for their pronounced contributions and decisions to overcome the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Art in Science Exhibition
An exhibition entitled Art in Science, display images captured by students during their experience at a public gallery in the country’s cultural village (KATARA). It is open to the public and generated much public interest in the artistic renditions of the students’ activities. The exhibition explored the interplay between science and art and presented an artistic interpretation of the concept of scientific inquiry.
Darb Al Saai
Darb Al saai is a unique platform organized by the government of Qatar during Qatar’s celebration of the National day, an exhibition that attracts a huge public attention with its diverse and rich blend of activities spreading emotions of patriotism, pride and national identity. We are popular exhibitor in Darb Alsaii with an array of educational interactive activities since 2016. We witness participation of large number of visitors including families and school trips who were impressed with the educational activities and the exciting strategies used in the activities presented. Our activities aid in developing critical thinking and problem solving skills to enhance creativity and innovation in youth.
Book Fair
We conduct numerous scientific and educational workshops at Doha International Book Fair, which is held every year in Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, under the support of Qatar University. The booth witness large participation of students from all over Qatar.
QUYSC –Qatar Scout Scientific innovative Camp
This innovative Camp is designed to deliver STEM based hands on scout activities to preparatory school students. This 3 days’ innovative camp includes a variety of scout activities aiming to develop the participant’s problem solving skills and introduce variant problem solving tools such as “Engineering design process” and “design Thinking process”.
