    Admissions Requirements (First-Year Applicants)

    • High school GPA: 85% and above (Science Track)
    • English: IELTS 6.0 | TOEFL 520 (PBT) | IBT 68
    • Math: SAT 500 / New SAT 530 / ACT 21 / QU-Placer Math 200
    • 12 years formal education, certified transcripts
    • Submit English & Math scores before application deadline
    • No conditional acceptance | No foundation program
    • International schools: Letter grades will be equalized to a percentage by the Qatar University Admissions Department. Refer to Qatar University Admissions Department for more information

    Transfer Admission Criteria

    Transfer is extraordinarily competitive and limited by college capacity. Personal interview and statement (350 words) mandatory.

    From Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing:

    • High school % ≥85% (Science Track)
    • Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
    • Preferred B grade in: MEDI101, MEDI102, CHEM101, CHEM103
    • English: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 520 / IBT 68
    • Math: SAT 500 / New SAT 530 / ACT 21 / QU Math Placer 200
    • Completed max 30 credit hours and min 16 credit hours
    • Pass interview + personal statement (350 words)

    From other colleges at Qatar University:

    • High school GPA ≥85% (Science Track)
    • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.5/4.0
    • Completed max 30 / min 16 credits with three science subjects (B+ in two)
    • Recommended: CHEM101, BIOL101, MATH101, STAT101, ENGL202
    • English & Math scores as above
    • Volunteering / healthcare internships (recommended)
    • Personal statement + interview

    Academic Support & Orientation

    New Student Orientation

    Two-day mandatory event: College Day & Institution Day. Receive QU ID, meet advisors, learn policies. Held at start of Fall semester.

    Orientation Week (Boot Camp)

    Pre-classes meetings, introduction to dental medicine, simulation labs, student life, and educational methods.
