    Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM)

    Program Description
    The DDM program follows an integrated, competency-based, and patient-centered curriculum. Problem-based learning is designed to facilitate horizontal and vertical integration between biomedical sciences and clinical dental subjects throughout the program. Structured training is provided in pre-clinical dental simulation laboratory settings before students develop and consolidate their skills in clinical environments.

    Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

    Six core domains — each student must demonstrate mastery before graduation:

    1. Scientific Knowledge Demonstrate applied biomedical and scientific knowledge underpinning clinical dental practice.
    2. Disease Prevention & Population Health Knowledge and skills to prevent oral & dental disease and promote oral/systemic health.
    3. Clinical Skills Provide safe, effective, holistic dental care.
    4. Evidence-based Practice Evidence-based approach to clinical decision-making delivering optimal patient care.
    5. Communication Skills Communicate clearly, effectively, and sensitively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
    6. Professionalism Highest standards of professionalism, legal compliance, and ethical guidelines.
