Special Collections

Qatar University's Special Collections Department is comprised of several special books, rare books, rare periodicals, and manuscripts. Its mission is to appraise, collect, organize, preserve, and make available the University's special collections as well as original source materials of historical, informational, evidential, administrative, and research value.

Anyone is welcome to use our collections, but users are required to notify the library before they are able to access the special collection and read material there within the library. Please provide your information along with a list of books that you would like to read so that they may be prepared beforehand:
