Health Surveillance at LARC has three aspects:
Daily Clinical examination:
Rodents are examined by LARC Veterinarian /Animal technician for signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behavior in animals.
Sentinel Monitoring Program:
Sentinel rodents used to monitor the health status of mice and rat colonies as per FELASA recommendation.
Environmental Monitoring Program:
Several laboratory tests monitored to ensure the sanitation and sterilization in LARC.
