Cyber Week October 2019
Cyber Week, organized by KINDI Research Center, is an annual event that aims to raise cyber-security awareness in Qatar through numerous activities. Furthermore, it aims to discuss current challenges and future trends related to security and privacy in the region. This event intends to bring together cyber-security experts from Academia, Industry, and Government to meet, discuss, share ideas, and establish contacts.
In previous editions of this initiative, Cyber Week hosted different speakers from different local and international organizations to deliver keynotes about various topics as well as panel discussions. Additionally, it provided hands-on training and awareness sessions about Cybersecurity to students, along with demos and posters sessions.
In the Cyber Week 3rd edition, we will have a one-week event that encompasses several initiatives including Cyber Conference, Cyber Women, and Cyber Challenge; in addition to the previous years’ activities. Moreover, training sessions by Raytheon and CTF competitions will be running throughout the week. These initiatives will be discussed further in this document.
