Aluminium: Metal of the Future Students Competition, Exploring Innovation and Sustainability

This event provides an excellent platform for students to showcase their research and projects related to aluminium, particularly focusing on sustainability, innovation, and the environmental contributions of this versatile material.

This event is a chance to contribute to a significant conversation about sustainability and innovation in aluminium, and we encourage you to participate and share your insights.

• Aluminium's Role in Environmental Improvement Demonstrate how aluminium, as a fully recyclable material, significantly reduces environmental impact and supports sustainable production.
  
• Turning Aluminium Waste into a Positive Force Present innovative strategies for managing aluminium waste, emphasizing the potential to transform waste into valuable resources through effective recycling and repurposing efforts.
• The Future of Aluminium Expanding Applications and Sustainable Products Discuss the future applications of aluminium in areas such as lightweight automotive parts, energy-efficient buildings, and other sustainable products that contribute to a greener future.
• GHG Emissions Management in Aluminium Production Discuss the new techniques for GHG emissions management to reduce the carbon footprint of the Aluminium.

Students are encouraged to form groups of 3 to 4 members (Male/Female) to present their concept addressing one of the key focus areas.

• Abstract should contain project title, name, affiliation, and email ID.
• Abstract should not be more than 350 words.
• Abstract should be submitted using the given template format
• Groups should consist of 3 to 4 students.
• Proposed concept should align with the event's theme and key focus areas.
• The top 3 best projects will be shortlisted for an oral presentation (10-15 minutes).
• Each short-listed group will present their proposed concept on stage to an audience of experts, faculty members, and industry representatives.

• Abstract Submission deadline: September 15^th, 2025.
• Shortlist Announcement: September 25^th, 2025.
• Presentation Day: October 8^th, 2025.
• Winners Announcement - Symposium Day: October 22^nd, 2025.

Winners will receive certificates, vouchers, and more importantly,participants will have the opportunity to secure internships at Qatalum.

All the enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
