Objectives

The main objective of QU-BRC is to provide the infrastructure, support, and collaborative arrangements for sustained biomedical research that:

Improves early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention as well as services, behaviors and outcomes related to key Metabolic disorder disease (cardiovascular diseases, including type 2 diabetes, obesity and Cancer) in Qatar/region while forging close collaboration with relevant research centers in Qatar (HMC, QBRI, SIDRA, Aspetar and QBB).

Reduces infectious disease transmission in communities and hospitals and enhance Public health in Qatar in collaboration with MOPH and HMC.

Advances research on drug discovery, development and analysis.
